2011 was good to me. I’m not saying there weren’t times that were hard, stressful or painful. There were. I watched some close family and friends go through some things that no one should have to deal with. But I also saw some of the best moments of my life. Friends weddings, babies born… these things were amazing.

Personally it was a big year for me. I got engaged to my love, in our backyard, that we built together. We have been planning our wedding in Bali for June 2012. I can’t wait!

On the work front, I was also riding a high… I ended up shooting 33 local weddings this calendar year, one in Bali, and one in Broome. I got to see some sights and meet some awesome people. I leased an office space and started a new business venture by buying a photo booth!

2012 looks  to be just as big for me. With nearly 25 bookings already for next year, I am nearly ready to call it “booked out”… *nearly*

I have one wedding in Koh Samui, Thailand and one in New Zealand. I can’t wait to shoot in these places! I am a lucky lucky kid.

I will marry my love, and this is really the part I can’t wait for. 6 years in the making, I’m ready to be a bride and experience all that the day is, this time from the other side. I can’t wait to spend time with family, friends and live life!

I have high hopes for 2012 and I hope that I can make the most out of it. I have changes and goals that I want to acheive both personally and work wise and hope that I can get there.

Hello!!!

Well last Saturday marked my last wedding of the 2010-2011 season here in Perth. I have one last wedding to complete and lucky me, it’s over in Bali!

I will be heading off tomorrow for the wedding then staying for a week of relaxing, cocktails  and more relaxing…. (and probably more cocktails too…)

I wil have my laptop so I can be contacted via email only but it may take me sometime to respond as I am unsure of what coverage I have. I apologise in advance if I dont get back to you straight away.

I will be back in the office from Monday the 20th of June so i will attend to all matters then.

Hello!

Just a little note to let everyone know that I am heading off to Bali tomorrow to shoot the last wedding of 2010! Very excited, my first wedding out of WA!

After the wedding I will be taking some time off over the Xmas break to spend with family and friends. I will be returning to the office full time from Monday the 3rd of January.

I will still have email access over this period and will respond to most emails but the response time may be a little slower than usual.

I hope that you all have a very merry Xmas and a great New Years! 2010 has been such a fantastic year for me and my business and I know that 2011 is going to be just as good.  There are lots of great things to look forward to!

Hello everbody… is anyone out there?

Well to those who read this, I am writing to let everyone know that the cutoff for reprints this year for pre-Xmas delivery is Friday the 3rd Of December. As I will be heading overseas to shoot a wedding in Bali in December, there will be ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. Any orders that come in after this date will not be processed until the new year.

Anyone who has not yet submitted their album selection or who I am waiting on design approval from, you have until the end of this week to get all the relevant information to me otherwise you will be waiting until the new year as well.

Sorry I have to be so formal about it but this warning is to avoid all disappointment, so get everything together and get it through to me ASAP.

I had a great E-Session with Emma and Andrew a month or so ago so I knew the wedding would be awesome, and it was. I told Emma that she won the award for the most “bling” wedding I have ever shot. It was all totally her though. Her bouquet was a work of art in itself,  check the crystals around the stem!

I met Alton & Louise a few days after they got married for a lovely session in Fremantle. I love shooting in Freo, I live so close but rarely get a chance to shoot here. Old buildings, right next the the beach… perfect!

These two were very sweet, my job was very easy for me this day. Just point in the right direction and capture the smiles.
