Nikki and Chad are friends of ours and I usually have a “no friends” rule when it comes to weddings, but after they got a bit stuck, I offered to help them out.

Their gorgeous wedding was held down in Pemberton. It was a lovely weekend (save the march flies!) and it was such a great day. These guys have been together for such a long time that it really was just a great celebration of the two of them.

I went to school with Maria back when we were in years 8 and 9 and we were pretty close friends.  But then she left and went to another school and we kind of lost touch. Fast forward to our early 20′s and we met up again when she started working at the nightclub that we haunted every weekend. I left Australia to go traveling and the years went by before 2 years ago I bumped into her at my local beauty salon and it turns out she now owns the business… so she is back in my life again! Funny how the world works…

When Maria and Warren got engaged I was thrilled to be asked to shoot their wedding. I can’t believe how quick it came around though…

Maria, you are just stunning! Both inside and out.. such a gorgeous girl. I am so happy to be part of your day. You guys are just so beautiful together, so much in love it’s just the best.

When I get to shoot former wedding client’s babies, I get excited. But this little gem is sooooo special. Little Livi was born when her mum was only 24 weeks pregnant. She is such a fighter. And so are her folks. 3 months of hospital visits till she was finally allowed to come home. These pics were taken on Tuesday, just 5 or so days after her original due date. Livi you were so good and sooooo cute.

I am going to try and be a good blogger for the second half of this wedding season! I am trying to blog each shoot within the first week of shooting it, but this one is  a little late…

Monique and Shanon got married at Sitella winery. It’s a beautiful spot and these two are gorgeous also. We had a lot of fun on the photoshoot and these two were just too cute together.
