I loved this wedding!! I am sometimes a little concerned when couples have their ceremony, photos and reception all at the one venue as I worry about photo location choices… BUT, this location turned out to be awesome! It was at Mandurah Quays Resort and it had so many little spots to choose from. The other awesome thing was I had Joce and Mark all to myself. Don’t get me wrong, I like the fun and vibe of the bridal party but sometimes it’s nice to have just the couple all to myself.

This is a little excerpt from the gorgeous card they send me after the wedding (Joce you are so talented!)

“Just a little something to say thanks for making our day so memorable. Mark and I felt very relaxed with you, hopefully it shows in the photos”

Liz and Dwayne’s wedding was soooooo much fun! Liz and I became Facebook friends shortly after she booked me earlier in the year, so when it came time to shoot her wedding, it felt like I really was shooting the wedding of a friend! The whole bridal party were so funny and up for anything so we had a blast… The ceremony was held at King’s Park and the reception was on the Lady Devine, a lovely boat that cruised around the river.

I have been a very bad blogger!!! Sorry… It has been a crazy 3 months, I have shot 14 weddings, been in a bridal party for my best friend and had many other shoots in between! As blogging is not an “essential” ie, people aren’t paying me to do it, I have fallen a bit behind. I have about 20 blog posts to do and hopefully I can get most of them up over the next couple of weeks.  So about this wedding……

Yoana and Sacha got married back in October and it was an unseasonably HOT day. 37 degrees in fact! It has pretty much set the tone for the season I think as I have now shot about 6 weddings in this heat! Anyway, they had a gorgeous ceremony at the Hidden Gardens in South Perth followed but their reception at Burswood. The photo shoot went well despite the heat and a groomsman on crutches!
